R' Ya Ready For Some Football?

Here is a small taste of the boyz playing ball. Jax completely loves this game! Most of these boyz have been playing ball together for over 4 years. They are pretty darn good! The "Cougars" have this season (so far) lost their first 2 games and won every game since then. With a win this last Saturday 46 to 6.

Oh Boy.....Am I in Trouble!!!

It must be Fall

Well, it has to be.... there is no mistaking it! It must be Fall!

Case in point:

1. The kids have been sick. First Bug, then Jax. I really hate it when the munchkins are ill, their little bodies hurt, we go through massive quantities of Jello and Propel, and copious amounts of laundry. But I do love, when all they want to do it watch movies and snuggle with me (I know that's rotten, but I miss the cuddles). Thank Goodness, that it was a short illness, only a couple days......and now we are back in the swing of things.

2. It is getting dark at 7:00pm and it is freezing in the mornings.

3. The air smells like fresh rain and falling leaves (could someone market that please, I would buy it!).

4. There are bushels of pumpkins at Walmart.

5. We had to turn the furnace on (Funny story...... Jim got out of bed this week, and it was absolutely freezing in the house. He went to turn on the furnace, it was not happening. After hours messing with the thing, and looking up the make and model on Google, trying to figure out how to fix it, he thought that he would start from the original source and work back. Thinking that we were going to have to replace the furnace, Jim on a whim replaced the batteries in the digital thermometer/controller, and what do ya know......it fired right up! Jim was a little crabby that it took him so long to figure that out, but very thankful that it cost us only 3 dollars to fix!)

So to celebrate fall, my house is decorated, I have "Pumpkin Roll" in my Scentsy warmer, I packed away all of our summer clothes and brought out all the sweaters! Ok Fall, Welcome!

(I'm going to be real crabby if we get another heat spell)

Last Day of Summer

These pictures were taken two weeks ago (yes, I know, I'm way behind.......). We have had record high temperatures here, it just so happened on this Saturday, it was 94 degree's outside. So after Jax' football game we headed to the lake with our neighbors. It was amazing, the water was great, the sunshine...phenomenal. Boy am I going to miss summer............ Hello, Little Miss Sunshine!

Jax found this hat floating in the lake, he thought it was pretty cool (he is what makes the hat look cool).

The three person tube finally deflated to the point of no return, we are sad...... The one person was only "ok", but Dad promised a new one for next year.
