Just Gotta Say.....

For the blabber mouth that I'am, I have kept this under wraps for a little while. But I would like to share with all of you.....Jim and I are blessed ( I know that you already "know" that, but let me explain).

Jim was elected (by his peer's/union brothers +sisters) to be the Vice President of the Union. This is a "Big Deal", folks. We are extremely humbled by the love and admiration shown by his fellow's firefighters, and excited for the the office that Jim now holds, knowing the hard work that is ahead of him.

And I, got the official acceptance into the Graduate Nursing Program at Idaho State University (yes, I'am a nurse, but not a "cool" enough one yet). Yet, another big deal. This means one more year of hard work,  but bring it on. I hear the NICU and PICU (neonatal and pediatric intensive care units) calling my name.

Alot of hard work is in our future, but God has blessed us with an opportunity to serve, which we are grateful for. Please send a prayer both our way's, as we continue on our journey to serve....

Where to Begin

Life has always been a little crazy for our family, but it seems that we have managed to add even more to the crazy. As if life with two kiddo's and careers is not enough, we keeping adding more. Hence the fact that I have not blogged since June (and even then, I was blogging about April!).

Here is yet another, meager attempt to catch you all up to speed on the "going's on" in this house-hold. Yikes!

Picking up from where I left off......

May: We did alot of this........

As you can see Bella, decided to cut her hair off again!

In June we had field trips, school projects, 2nd and 5th grade graduations.

We also celebrated Bella's 8th Birthday (we had a spa day, and got pedicures!), and BTW.......I went back to school. I'm a sucker.....Don't feel sorry for me, I do it to myself!

So there is a small sample of a few months, I will work on updating you, on the rest of our summer. But it is already quarter to ten, and I have about two more hours worth of homework......
