He didn't tell me how to live ; he lived, and let me watch him do it.
To My Dad,
I know that I tell you every time we talk, that I love you but I do not always tell you this......
Thank you.
Thank you for your love and dedication in raising me. Thank you for expecting a lot out of me. Thank you, for teaching me the reward in hard work. Thank you for daily showing me what a marriage should be.
Thank you for your patience and forgiveness when I broke your heart with disappointment. Thank you for wake up calls with a wet dogs' nose and "Burning Daylight". Thank you for camping in the rain, "making memories". Thank you for your countless prayers over the last thirty years.
Thank you for buying us horses and motorcycles (much better than Barbies anyways). Thank you for taking me hunting, even if just to shoot dead sage rat's with my BB gun. Thank you for the many road trips (that soooo got me out of school work!). Thank you for your humor, highly embarrassing at times, but we loved it, really we still do!
Thank you for leading a life of honor and showing me humility in some of it's rawest forms. Thank you for your love to my husband and our children.
I love you Dad, you are today and forever a hero in my heart.
Happy Fathers Day!

Hannah - you are a delight to us.
