This last week, Jax rafted down the Payette River for the 3rd year in a row. The Boise Police team up with a local rafting company and take a boat load (no pun intended) of kids down the river.
They meet at the main police station at 7:15 am (which meant we were getting up at 0'dark:30). The cops haul the kids up to the river via buses and police cruisers (Jax loved that, he is so used to fire trucks!). From there the rafting company volunteers their guides to take the kids and cops down the river.
All of the river guides dress up in costumes (Bug and I spotted Barney and Billy Idol) and along with a cop per raft, take all of these kids on a white water adventure. Mind you this is highly stressful for this over bearing mom, but watching how much fun they had, made me relax a little!
After the rafting is complete they eat lunch at the raft company and head home. I tried to convince Bug to go down the river (she went with us as a family last year and loved it) but this year she just wanted to stick with me and take pictures of the kids coming down the river.

I love the picture of Bella. She is so beautiful. And I want to know how come Jackson looks so grown up. I miss you all and can't wait until I see you all in August. Give hugs to everyone and kiss the big guy.
