Jax (poor little man) has had a cough for over a week. He hacks.... he spits up some greenish stuff that closely resembles Shrek slime.
My rule has always been, if they don't have a fever..... they will get over it (sorry that is the nurse in me). Well, Jax went a week and a half with out a fever, then "it" happened..... vomit and fever (103.3, to be exact).
Shame on me, it is moments like that......that I feel like a bad mommy. So I took the little man to the doc on thursday....... guess what???? He's got pneumonia! Bless his little heart, he has been cursed with asthma just like his daddy, which makes his lungs a little more weak than others, hence the pneumo!
Thank you Lord, for Western Medicine! A little Augmentin, and he is a new man! Jax did have to miss two days of school, and for-go on his b-ball game this last Saturday, but all is ok.....
Next week is looking fantastic!

Sorry, Jax. Being sick is a bummer but I know that you are a trooper and will "pop" back in no time.
